My father’s name was Richard Kistner and in 1955, he became a State Farm Agent. This was long before computers and cellphones, so his business was primarily built through face-to-face interaction. Dad would meet families in their homes, making ‘night calls’ in their kitchens and living rooms. Eventually, he built and conducted business from an office of his own and this is the office we occupy today. I am proud to say that we have been helping families and business owners for 70 years!

My team consists of my sister Denise Lewis, and my nephew, Billy Lewis. Denise worked for our Dad until his retirement in June 1991 and joined my team when I was appointed in December of that year. Billy joined us in 2017, adding another generation of family to the business.

We have been privileged to help many of the same families of customers that Dad worked with. As their children and grandchildren have bought cars, homes, and businesses, we have been there to help. A lot has changed in how business gets done, but what has not changed is our commitment to helping our customers.
